Ages ago, bay leaf was already used as kitchen herb because of its subtle taste and bitter scent. You can use it fresh or dried. We always recommend using fresh leaves for certain dishes.

The Lauretum also developed certain original products based on bay leaf, such as bay leaf tapenade, bay leaf mustard, bay leaf liquor, bay leaf jam and bay leaf cheese.
