From cutting to tree...
Every bay tree still originates from a seed or a cutting. Plants cultivated from seeds have a robust root system and great vitality. They differ greatly in terms of leaf shape, size and even aroma. Laurica-plants increases its bay tree population by taking cuttings; this guarantees better quality.
Plants cultivated from a cutting grow slower but are much more uniform when it comes to leaf size, shape and aroma. Their less robust root system ensures that the plants flourish better in a pot or barrel; as a result they keep longer. Bay trees cultivated from cuttings are also more suitable for being cut and kept in shape.
